EC-Council iLabs

|  Categories:  Tech

For those wanting an environment to try pen testing, I suggest you build your own. A few months ago I gave EC-Council's iLabs a try. They have virtual environments already built for a user to test tools and techniques. The cost for their CEH iLabs is $199.00. While convenient, I advise against paying for it. Instead download trial versions of your operating systems and go nuts. Or if you're struggling for local space, use a service like AWS for your testing. Create images and have a good time. Please read the list of services which pen tests can be ran against in the link below. Save your money and build your own environment. With the cloud provider route, you also learn how to use a service like AWS, Azure, or Linode.
