EC-Council iLabs| Categories: Tech
For those wanting an environment to try pen testing, I suggest you build your own. A few months ago I gave EC-Council's iLabs a try. They have virtual environments already built for a user to test tools and techniques. The cost for their CEH iLabs is $199.00. While convenient, I advise against paying for it. Instead download trial versions of your operating systems and go nuts. Or if you're struggling for local space, use a service like AWS for your testing. Create images and have a good time. Please read the list of services which pen tests can be ran against in the link below. https://aws.amazon.com/security/penetration-testing/ Save your money and build your own environment. With the cloud provider route, you also learn how to use a service like AWS, Azure, or Linode.
